Thick-It is an instant food thickener to assist eating for those with swallowing disorders or dysphagia. Hot and cold beverages as well as pureed foods can be thickened for a palatable consistence without adding any flavor or odors. It does not bind fluids and is easily digested.

Directions for Use - Sprinkle contents of packet into 4 fl. oz. of liquid while stirring briskly with a wire whisk. Once thickener is dissolved, allow liquid to stand for a minute to thicken. One packet will thicken most liquids to honey-like consistency in accordance to viscosity standards of the National Dysphagia Diet. The natural viscosity of the liquid being thickened and its serving temperature impact the amount of Thick It Food Thickener required.
